These Terms & Conditions govern the contracting of the TrueWeight medical service. By completing the medical questionnaire and contracting a plan, you accept these terms. Please read them carefully before making any payment.
TrueWeight is an online medical service for the assessment, treatment, and follow-up of obesity and overweight, provided by registered medical professionals in Spain. The service includes medical questionnaires, asynchronous messaging, video consultations, prescription of medications when clinically indicated, laboratory test requests, and ongoing monitoring of treatment progress.
TrueWeight is a medical service. All treatments are prescribed by registered doctors on a case-by-case basis after a complete clinical evaluation. We do not guarantee specific results. Weight loss outcomes vary depending on individual factors including adherence to treatment, lifestyle changes, and metabolic response.
Our services are not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you experience a medical emergency, call 112 (Spain) or your local emergency number immediately.

The cost of weight control medications dispensed at the pharmacy is not included in any plan.
Subscription plans (Monthly, Quarterly, Semiannual) are billed in advance at the beginning of each billing period. Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each period unless cancelled. You will be charged for the next period on your billing date.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your patient portal. Upon cancellation, no further payments will be charged. Access to messaging and follow-up services continues until the end of the current paid period.

Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU you have the right to withdraw from a contract within 14 days without giving any reason. For medical services, this right is waived when you expressly request the service to begin during the withdrawal period, which you do by submitting your medical questionnaire for clinical assessment.
If you have paid for a plan but have not yet been clinically assessed, you may cancel and obtain a full refund. For safety and hygiene reasons, no refund is offered for medications that have already been prescribed or dispensed, except in cases of error or defect attributable to us. If you cancel a prepaid plan after treatment has begun, a pro-rata refund may be issued for the unused period, subject to the clinical assessment having been completed.
TrueWeight complies with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish organic Law 3/2018 on Data Protection. Your health data is encrypted at rest using AES-256-GCM and transmitted over secure TLS connections. Data is hosted in certified infrastructures within the European Union and Switzerland.

TrueWeight does not provide "prescriptions on demand." All prescriptions are issued at the sole discretion of the treating physician after a complete clinical evaluation, including review of medical history, comorbidities, laboratory results, and individual benefit-risk assessment. Prescriptions are issued as private prescriptions valid in Spanish and EU pharmacies.

TrueWeight acts as a platform connecting patients with licensed medical professionals. The medical team exercises independent clinical judgment. TrueWeight is not liable for the specific medical decisions made by the treating physicians. In no event shall TrueWeight be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the service.
TrueWeight reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to the service for users who violate these terms, provide false information, or engage in abusive behavior towards the medical team. Users may terminate their account at any time by contacting the support team.
These terms may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of material changes via email or through the patient portal. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. Any disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the patient's domicile.
